Short Characteristics of the Book
This volume presents a selection of interiors from Italy, Europe and the world. Each a distinctive environment in its own right, together they provide an overview of contemporary lifestyle trends. Examples include classic villas, country homes, lofts, small city apartments, houses on the Mediterranean coast, former industrial premises converted to modern homes, senior-management offices, 5-star hotels, boats and even an embassy - the Italian Embassy in Brasilia. Domestic or work environments covering a gamut of styles, they have been designed by architects or simply by their inhabitants, with the help of furnishing stores. 

Short Biography of the Author
Cristina Morozzi is a journalist, critic, author and curator for design, art and fashion. She was Editor in Chief of the design magazine “Modo” for 9 years (1987 - 1996). Curator of exhibitions and author of theoretics and monographics books. Member of the design committee at the first “Biennale Giovani” in Turin (1999). Image consultant for fashion and design companies. Visiting Professor at Domus Academy in Milan and Ecole Cantonale in Lausanne.
