F5 follows a functional mixed-use target with a linear shape in which the units are realized from the second level to the attics, the directional surfaces are located on the first floor while the ground floor guest commercial spaces. The car parks and cellars are located in the underground levels.
The building, with a sleeve of about 18 m, is stretched for a length of over 63 m, reaching a maximum height of almost 33 m.
It is started with the digging to a depth of about 12 m and the subsequent safety of the surrounding ground by means of the construction of steel micro-piles for the support of embankments to neighboring. On the top of the poles it has been realized a bead in concrete having then the support function for the retaining wall of the ramp. The anchorage of micro-piles is then further secured through the use of tie rods. These structures were waterproofed with the use of bentonite materials.
The building is made with a point-like bearing structure of beams and columns of reinforced concrete. For slabs of basements is a cast system in place and prefabricated mixture was used through the use of predalles prestressed concrete with welded framework and lightening elements incorporated while the insoles of the floors are made with flooring blocks.
The foundation pattern is made from a backward beam system.
The perimeter walls floors were then made of reinforced concrete and protected by a membrane of Tefond Hdpoe provided with indentations and hemispherical perimeter of the mechanical type of coupling system coupled to non-woven geotextile fabric and OSB panels. This system in beams and columns was used for all floors of the building.
The building roof covered with solar and photovoltaic panels, has always made plain and masonry. The upper slab is protected by a triple layer of waterproofing added cross-hot. Among the execution operations of the second and of the third layer the perimeter gutter has been positioned in 2mm thick sheet. The photovoltaic panels were placed on a steel structure anchored to the cover.
The external walls, divisions between the various apartments and one of the stairwells are brick while the interior partitions to individual units were made of gypsum board.
The finished external walls are constituted by a coated gypsum board and painted inward coupled to a plaster slab fibrate, the aluminum rails for the laying of the plates, an air chamber, an insulating layer, rendering coat mortar of lime, a concrete block, a further air chamber, a second insulating layer, a concrete block, rough coat of mortar of lime, an insulating layer, an interspace ventilated, the ventilated wall and the outer coating glass plate.
Internal partition walls are constituted by a double gypsum plasterboard per side with an interposed insulating panel of glass wool Isover par.
Each stairwell is equipped with a cavity for the passage of the installations that runs the entire height of the building. The thermal power plant has been placed on the roof.
After the infill plants of each unit were then prepared.
Particular attention has been spent to sound insulation and heat through the laying of acoustic and thermal insulation type Isolmant also Bandage pillars, floors, and trap doors.
The terraces are waterproofed with a double jacket of floated and thrown sloping floor. The wooden deck rests on adjustable feet.
For the parapet outer glass it is used a Faraone profile.
The frames are made of aluminum.
