The house adapts to the terrain uphill and is subdivided into three functional blocks: services are downstairs, a "terrace" for social and leisure activities is in the intermediate floor, while the suspended pavilion at the second story hosts the more private area of the house. A structural design is obtained by integrating indoors and surrounding outer landscape, removing beams and pillars, offering sights of the lagoon situated in front of the house. Reflecting pool, roof garden and cross ventilation assist in thermal comfort while the rain and wastewater reuse system reduces water consumption.
