Arper has participated in the project
Simple and essential design ensures Arper products have sharp, original lines that fit in just about any setting. This versatility is the fruit of careful research focused on combining technology and design, while bringing together innovation and quality. Aava is one of Antti Kotilainen’s newest creations. This chair with essential and elegant curved lines is designed for residential or contract use. Aava might exalt simplicity of shape, but it also comes in a large variety of versions as an array of materials, colours and finishings can be used. The plywood frame veneered with a birch effect is available in natural colours, black, white, oak, walnut and beech wood. The bases can be with sledge feet, or with 4 wooden or chromed legs, with or without arm rests. All the versions with the stainless steel frame can be stacked, making them ideal for storing and large-scale use. The Aava range is completed by the bar stool (65 and 75 cm high).
Ply is the other new creation: a modular system of tables and stools designed by Lievore Altherr Molina. It brings together the warmth of wood, fluid and dynamic lines, and a minimalist style. The triangular tables can be used either individually or in groups, with the option to mix and match sizes and colours as you like. The tables are available in different sizes and heights (36 cm and 44 cm) and with natural oak, black and red finishes. The stools, both for residential and contract use, are available in 44, 64 and 76 cm high versions, in natural oak and black.
